  10.        This chapter lists information that is supplemental to the
  11.        _S_o_f_t_w_a_r_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n _A_d_m_i_n_i_s_t_r_a_t_o_r'_s _G_u_i_d_e and the
  12.        installation instructions in the _P_e_r_s_o_n_a_l _S_y_s_t_e_m

  14.        product-specific; use it with either of those Guides to

  87.        product.  If you are installing this software for the first
  88.        time, the default subsystems are installed if you click the
  89.        _I_n_s_t_a_l_l _A_u_t_o_m_a_t_i_c_a_l_l_y button.  To install a different set of
  90.        subsystems, click the _C_u_s_t_o_m_i_z_e _I_n_s_t_a_l_l_a_t_i_o_n button and make
  91.        your new selections.  Then click the _S_t_a_r_t button to launch
  92.        the installation.

  138.        To use the 2.1-6.5f release of the IRIX IM Development
  139.        Environment, your workstation must:

  141.           +o Be running IRIX release IRIX 6.5f.

  143.           +o Have _m_o_t_i_f__e_o_e._s_w._e_o_e (which contains the run-time
  144.             shared libraries) installed.

  146.           +o Have _m_o_t_i_f__e_o_e._s_w._u_i_l (which contains the _u_i_l compiler)
  147.             installed for _u_i_l-based development.

  156.             execute against an X11R6 server, such as one running
  157.             IRIX 6.5.  Programs built with this software are
  158.             believed to also execute properly against an X11R5 or
  159.             R4 server, such as those running IRIX 5.1 or 4.0.x
  160.             releases, but that capability has not been well tested,
  161.             and is therefore not guaranteed.
